The California coast is one
of the top tourist destinations in America. California’s coastline
extends from the soft sandy tropical beaches of San Diego by the
Mexican border to the rugged northern California coast near Oregon.

coast are a great way to enjoy sunshine, sand and wide expanses
of open beaches.
The Northern Coast of California features beautiful redwoods and
small coastal towns. It stretches along the Pacific from the Bay
Area to the Oregon border. All along the Northern California coast
there are quaint coastal towns such as Shelter Cove and villages
fringed by beautiful black sand beaches.
San Francisco is in Northern California very near the magnificent
coastal scenery of the Marin headlands. There are over 70 miles
of beaches, and many different interesting neighborhoods
filled with different ethnicities in San Diego is another renowned
coastal city in California. California is also known for Monterey
which is a large bay town in Northern California.
With over 1,000 miles of coastline and many, many beaches the California
coast is many things to many people. The beaches
include flat, sandy expanses or rocky shores. The California coast
is a great place to explore. There are a number of destinations
for coastal vacations in California. You can sun bathe, swim,
go abalone diving or salmon
fishing.
